My Bucket List

In 2013, I decided to create a Bucket List for myself. I was about to set off on my first time as a solo female traveler, and I had just launched this website.

At first I shyly kept it on a single Note page of my iPhone. As the list was increasingly visited and my list expanded exponentially, I decided to sit down and make it more official.

That process of reflection and creation that is included in my lists became a favourite activity of mine.

As my travels continued, so did my creation of lists -

If I was going to Ireland, how could I not learn to pour a pint of Guinness?

If I was living in Australia, it would be horrendously rude to avoid kangaroos. Right?

How could I not do at least one Great Walk hike if I was going to be living in New Zealand?!

Some items are incredibly touristy and others are personal. Goals, activities, suggestions, and - BOOM - that's how these lists are created. Some I have been attentive enough to blog about, which should be linked in the items or descriptions, and others I have simply crossed off.

Check them out & come back again to see what's changed. Happy Travels!

My Big Daddy of Bucket Lists: THE Bucket List

Jump out of a plane. Learn to make dumplings.

These are things a girl needs to do.

Well, at least this girl.

Check out my (ever-changing) life-long Bucket List here.

'My 90 Irish Nights' in Dingle, Ireland

After 18 months of living in a backpack, I found myself in a B&B outside of Dingle, Ireland ready to work for the summer of 2015. It was great craic (Irish for 'fun') and changed my deep appreciation of my Irish heritage as well as a properly poured Guinness.

Puffins, breathtaking cliffs, redheads, and endless pubs - check it out.

My Aussie Life: My First Year Down Under

After working in exchange for an amazing summer in Ireland, I needed to replenish my bank account so I boarded a plane for Melbourne, Australia.

It was time for my first (actually paid) working holiday and, obviously, a spanking new bucket list.

I fell in love with the city, the Australian approach to life, and even met the love of my life during these insanely hot days, all while ticking off my Aussie Life Bucket List items.

Kiwi Days

Loving Oceania, but needing to find a new home (hello, expired working visa!), New Zealand made sense as a next move for me and my partner Kevin.

After traveling for a month through the North & South Islands, we moved to Auckland in January 2017 and still find ourselves in this breathtaking, yet sometimes bizarre country - how can you have this much beauty in one place?! Unreal.

Check out our 2017 and 2018 Kiwi Days Bucket Lists, then hurry up & come visit!
