Russia

This past March I spent the month exploring Russia with my great friend Caitlin. We had both been hoping to visit Russia for years, and luckily the timing worked out so that we could go together.

I know what you might be thinking, and yes, we decided to knock this Bucket List adventure off our lists in the height of Russian winter. We so smart...

Our journey began in the eastern city of Vladivostok and over the following weeks we traveled on the Trans-Siberian Railroad all 9,258 kilometres west eventually ending our journey in Saint Petersburg. Though we spent multiple days on the train, we decided break up the otherwise 7-day-straight journey by stopping in different cities along the way.  Our stops along the Trans-Siberian Railroad were Vladivostok, Irkutsk, Lake Baikal, Yekaterinburg, Moscow and Saint Petersburg.

Spark Notes: Russia is awesome & you should visit!

Because of the incredible skepticism we received upon planning our trip, I want to share information about our positive experience, hilarious stories and endless pictures from our journey through Russia, as well as suggestions for fellow travellers. Check out my Russia posts for more.
